Sofie Clais

Sofie Clais obtained a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2010 at UAntwerpen. After completing a PhD in microbiology, she worked several years in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) roles for different large pharmaceutical companies. With a passion for quality and infectious diseases she joined in February 2022 Vaccinopolis as Head of QA.

She is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality management system and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The QA team assures together with the clinical trial teams, lab and facility teams that all our studies are conducted according to the highest standards including the Good Clinical Practices and sponsor expectations.
