Martina Bamberger

Martina Bamberger works as Senior Valorisation Manager at the University of Antwerp since 2019. She obtained a master’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Graz, Austria and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Porto, Portugal. She worked 9 years in industry, of which 7 years at Ablynx (now Sanofi), first as Team Leader and later as Lead Scientist to develop therapeutics for various disease indications.

In 2014, she joined the Flemish Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) as Intellectual Property (IP) Manager. From 2017-2019 she gained expertise in the IP law firm NLO. She qualified in 2022 as European Patent Attorney.
