Doreen Dekker
In 2024, Doreen joined Vaccinopolis as Head of the Human Challenge Trial Unit where she guides the strategy to accelerate the clinical evaluation of vaccine candidates and as such helps to shape the future of vaccine development.
Doreen graduated with a MSc in Human Biology from the University of Greifswald, Germany and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Twente, The Netherlands. In the last 17 years, she supported biotech start-ups and pharma companies such as Celyad, UCB and Novartis to close the gap between research and clinical implementation.
