Bart Van Meerbergen

Bart Van Meerbergen obtained his master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2003 and his Ph.D. from the same university in 2008. Hereafter, he has been working in the diagnostics industry for 14 years. He worked for several companies including Phillips Research, Biocartis and Antelope Dx. He has been working in the field of infectious diseases throughout this entire time in various roles.

In 2022, he joined Vaccinopolis as Head of Operations where he supported the validation of the entire facility and is mainly responsible for the technical oversight of the facility and helps to steer the strategic direction of the unit in conjunction with the other members of the management team.
